I personally love anything (especially a service!) that makes life easier… cue Mr Baxter, a service led by jewellery designer Kate McCoy and event organiser Bree Gomberg to help people with proposal ideas and understanding engagement rings.
Kate McCoy also specialises in diamond grading and dealing, and can offer advice on deciphering the 4 C’s when it comes to gemstones (cut, clarity, colour and carat weight) as well as come up with a fabulous design for your beau.
“Personalisation is highly important and defines how well a groom knows his bride to be,” said McCoy. “Buying a ring off the shelf is easy and comes with a retail price tag. Personalisation is what makes an engagement ring unique to the couple and Mr Baxter offers the savvy gent the recipe to have his cake and eat it too.”
Bree Gomberg has styled countless weddings and special events (she’s also the owner of White Rabbit Projects) and can offer her 2 cents when it comes to crafting the ultimate proposal on the big day.
“Guys are so hands on these days in the wedding planning journey – times are certainly changing,” says Gomberg. “They really see value in spending money on getting the right information from the right source. Guys enjoy the process of educating themselves and investigating all the options before making that decision.”
