Not surprisingly, social media favourites Justin Bieber, 21, and Kendall Jenner, 20, take centre stage in a steamy set of gorgeous snaps by acclaimed London photographer/filmmaker Tyrone Lebon.
Each image bears the text “I_______in #MyCalvins”, with the blank filled in differently by each of the models, who include Australian superstar Abbey Lee Kershaw.
Justin “flaunts” and “dreams”, Kendall “stands tall” and “poses”, FKA Twigs “flexes” and Fetty Wap “makes money”.
While Kendall was the star of the Victoria’s Secret show in November, 2015, she apparently has no issues about switching brands either.
“Honestly, it has been my dream to be able to do something like that [a Calvin Klein campaign],” she said the same year.
“Calvin Klein’s ad campaigns have always been so memorable. Being a Calvin Klein model is something that I’ve always dreamed of and it’s incredible to follow such major models like Kate Moss, Christy Turlington and Lara Stone.”
Kendall certainly picked a significant year. It’s the first time that each of the Calvin Klein brands – Calvin Klein Collection, Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear – have been presented together.
For example, while Robert Pattinson’s fiancee FKA, below, models a nude top and skirt for her animated campaign shot, Kendrick sports some of the denim.
As part of a video accompaniment, the campaign also features breakout Danish actress Klara Kristin; independent hip-hop recording artist Joey Bada$; Aussie actress, model and musician Abbey Lee Kershaw and British model and activist Adwoa Aboah.
In addition to subtle sex appeal, the ads are meant to inspire viewers to push their daily actions beyond scrolling their iPhone screens.
“This campaign moves from the passive, solo moment of the static selfie to live action, supporting the concept that the movement and moments of life are what creates its sensuality and sexiness,” the announcement for the campaign reads.
“The campaign images are intimate and authentic, taking the long view past the famous faces in them to find the shared human truth at the heart of a generation that prides itself on its purpose and ambition.”
