Nothing gets my heart racing like a limited edition fashion collaboration, and when I spotted Jean Paul Gaultier’s name, I just knew I needed everything from the range, even before seeing it.

It’s just been announced that the French designer will be collaborating with the homewares and lifestyle giant Target, to produce over 100 products including clothes, shoes, lingerie, homewares, and baby items – with prices starting from just $10.

“Every time I’ve been to Australia I’ve been impressed by the laid-back, unstuffy confidence that Australians display with their fashion,” says Mr Gaultier. “It resonates with my design philosophy and has such synergy with my own approach to fashion and style.”

Jean Paul Gaultier joins the likes of Missoni and Roberto Cavalli who have also taken part in the ‘Designers For Target’ collaboration, and judging by the successes of these previous launches, it’s bound to be madness in stores and online when the range drops in early 2016.

“I have looked for inspiration in many ways but one of the constants is the street and what people are wearing. I believe in fashion that you can wear every-day not just on a catwalk – which is really what Target stands for at its core – which made it the right retail partner for me to choose to bring this range to market in Australia.”

Here’s a preview of what you’ll find in stores…
