The exclusive collaborative collection between Disney and Coach is launching in Australia in early July. It’s purpose is to celebrate Coach’s 75th anniversary as well as the art of American Pop culture.
There is a range of fabulous leathery accessories which all feature unique sketches of the legendary character Mickey Mouse. These drawings have been specially created by Disney animators and combined with Coach’s luxury leather, giving birth to the limited edition collection which honours the style and heritage of both brands.
“Mickey Mouse is one of my earliest memories of American pop – his nostalgic charm, cheekiness, individuality and inherent cool make for the ultimate American icon,” said Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers. “I’ve always seen Mickey as a playful rebel at heart and a timeless symbol of joy and creativity. That spirit reinforces the new youthful perspective we are bringing to luxury at Coach.”
The two companies hope that the collaboration will please both the Disney fans and fahionistas alike. The bags also come in a range of different colours so there’s even more to choose from which makes the whole process of picking which bag you want the most even harder!
Mickey Mouse is one of the world’s most recognised characters and the official mascot of the Walt Disney Company. Coach is a power house in producing luxury leather lifestyle products and accessories, and was established in New York City in 1941. Sold worldwide, Coach is especially know for its signature glove-tanned leather bags including the Saddle and the Dinky. Therefore Disney and Coach have truly treated us by fusing together their two trademarks. You heard right, you can get your hands on a Mickey Mouse themed Saddle or Dinky bag (sigh – as I convince myself this is what my savings are for).
Be sure to grab your exclusive bag before the collection ends.
The collection will be available at Coach stores; St Collins Lane, Emporium, Chadstone in Melbourne, Australia, and QVB in Sydney, Australia, as well as online at www.coachaustralia.com
