Tour merchandise used to be exclusively available only at actual live events. But now it’s hitting retail stores and is available online.
The tour bandwagon started really rolling earlier this year when Kanye West released his The Life of Pablo gear which was designed by L.A.-based artist Cali Thornhill Dewitt.
Then Queen Bey dropped her controversial ‘Boycott Beyoncé’ merch and asked her fans to get ‘in formation’.
Now, even if you missed out on a Justin Bieber Purpose World Tour ticket, you don’t need to panic. You can now buy his official tour merch too!
From late August, Bieber Tour Merchandise will be available at Forever 21 online and in stores everywhere. So if concert t-shirts and merchandise are in with the current fashion trends, then we can expect to see Justin Bieber ‘Purpose Tour’ apparel everywhere. As if Bieber wasn’t everywhere already?
Previously, the store Urban Outfitters exclusively sold Bieber tour merchandise but now that it’s hitting the Forever 21 shelves it’s going to be much more accessible to all.
You don’t have to look far to see celebs rocking a band/concert t-shirt or sweater. So Bieb’s has got the right idea by putting his official tour merchandise out on the market. Savvy little thing.
Another singer who has the same entrepreneurial cap on is badass pop star Rihanna. You can buy RiRi’s ANTI tour merchandise from Parisian retailer Colette or on the official tour website.
The range includes t-shirts, hoodies, sweats and baseball caps, so if you have been longing to wear a hoodie with a picture of the ever seductive naked RiRi on your back, well here is your chance.
It also turns out you no longer need to be a musician to have your own tour merch. The supermodel Hadid sisters have also jumped on the bandwagon with their own range on sale now at Urban Sophistication.
You can buy a bubblegum pink t-shirt, or hoodie with a picture of Gigi and Bella’s faces on a barbie-esque head with the caption ‘Belgie’ – a clever sandwich of their names, written in the Barbie style writing.
Gigi posted a photo of the merchandise on Snapchat the other day with the caption “What u know about Belgie Tour merch”.
