In today’s news? Forget about the Christening of Princess Charlotte; it’s her Mum’s incredibly elegant fashion sense that’s caught our eye.
For the special event at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, the Duchess of Cambridge has turned up in a flawless McQueen dress coat that’s made me fall head-over-heels with her all over again. Designed by Sarah Burton, this style first took to the runway in Spring 2012.
As for accessories, she’s kept it classic by pairing the outfit with a white feathered hat, drop earrings and some simple nude pumps. Her beauty look for the day consisted of a light foundation base, faintly-sculpted brows, dark eyeliner, mascara and a nude-pink lip.
Kate really knows a thing about mixing low and high-street fashion too; she’s been seen in maternity ASOS dresses (that sell out in seconds post appearance), relaxed Zara shirts, as well as Zimmermann and Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dresses.
