The Hadid name is certainly the (fashionable) flavour of the month, however this time it’s Bella with her name in bright lights. The 19-year-old model has been confirmed to walk exclusively for Misha Collection on May 16, opening and closing their Resort Show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.

The brunette beauty has also been named the face of their Resort ’17 campaign which launches their latest offering, a diffusion line called Misha Gold. In what is a perfect marketing move for the young Melbourne brand, the collaboration is sure to be a valuable one, with everything the Hadid name touches turning to gold.

Misha Collection’s creative director Michelle Aznavorian told Vogue, “Bella was always my number one choice. She’s just got such a timeless, elegant and a very high fashion look. We chose Bella as the face of Misha as we are launching our new Misha Gold collection which is a more elevated line with a higher price point. We’re getting everything manufactured in Australia and we’re using all Italian, German and Japanese fabrics so we wanted to collaborate with a beautiful face.” The collaboration was said to be an organic one, with Hadid a fan of the brand, having worn it in the past.

The baby sister of model of the moment, Gigi Hadid, Bella is forging her own path down the runway, with her star currently shining as brightly as her sister’s. She is signed with IMG and recently won the Daily Front Row’s “Model of the Year” award. Design virtuoso Karl Lagerfeld even hand-picked her for the coveted Chanel Couture show in 2016, an honourable feat for any model.

As the fashionable folk flock to Carrigeworks come May, all eyes will no doubt be fixed firmly on Bella. She will most definitely be the belle of this ball.
