If you are planning to walk down the aisle, then you need to know what are the latest trends for women’s wedding bands to ensure you invest in a something you’ll treasure forever.
Bespoke jeweller and gemmologist Matthew Ely shares his insights into this year’s top trends in the luxury women’s wedding band market.
Single Bold Bands Are In
We have noticed as of late that women are selecting a more substantial band and opting for one band rather than two, which suggests that women are preferring to focus the attention on one side of their ring as opposed to going for a more symmetrical look.
Diamond Domination
Approximately 90-95% of the time my clients opt for a diamond wedding band. Even with a relatively classic engagement ring with no diamonds, I believe that a simple diamond band will do more to lift the engagement ring than a band without diamonds.
2-3 Stacked Bands Are Also on the Rise
Despite the popularity of singular bands, we are simultaneously seeing increasing numbers of our female clientele opting to stack two or three bands on one side of their engagement ring. Emphasis is always placed on bringing out the most stunning features of their engagement ring.
