She’s the latest celebrity to launch her own skincare range. TV host Ellen DeGeneres has brought out her new beauty line called Kind Science.

Three years in the making, the range is priced from US$22 to US$48 and is promoted as ‘kind to animals, kind to the planet and kind to your wallet’.

Ellen worked on formulating the products with beauty expert Victoria Jackson, who has her own range called Victoria Jackson Cosmetics.

The range includes a cleanser with kakadu plum and chamomile and the exfoliant has a fruit acid blend, bamboo silk and volcanic sand.

Ellen, who came under criticism for claims against her of workplace harassment, is about to wrap up her popular TV show after 19 seasons.

In a statement about her new skincare range, she said she’d struggled to find skincare products for her ‘increasingly sensitive skin.’

“I’ve tried pretty much everything out there and finally decided to launch my own line, not wanting to compromise the things that matter most to me – caring for yourself, animals and the planet,’ she explained.

‘Kind Science isn’t about anti-ageing because ageing is a good thing, it shows you’ve lived a lot, learned a lot and hopefully laughed a lot. I want to keep laughing, just with fewer laugh lines and wrinkles.’
