This bun uses a similar technique to the twist and pin to create a fun, asymmetrical style. The difference between the two, however, is that this chignon incorporates more portions of hair into the style. It’s also asymmetrical, which adds a touch of glamor to the look and gives it an edge that would suit a party, a formal event, or a day at the office.

This style can be varied infinitely. If your hair is long, twist your hair more to create double buns. For shorter hair, you can twist and fold your hair into a messy chignon. If you think your hair is too short, it’s not! You can pin hair that’s just 2 inches long.
