How To Contour For Fuller Lips

As with any contouring, Glenn explains that applying a lighter colour to an area will make it stand out, while applying a darker shade makes the area recede.

The optical illusion of creating plumper lips begins with applying a touch of light colour to the cupids bow and the middle of the lower lip – while a darker colour is used as the low-light on the outer corners of the lip.

Using a clean brush, two shades are blended together to a natural fade and then gloss is applied to finish off.

As Kate says when she sees the result “It does make my lips look bigger, but it’s such a natural look and is so quick to do”.

No injectables needed!

Tips

  • Use a lip brush to blend the two colours together, going from dark to light.
  • Finish off with a lip gloss that’s clear so you can see the contouring underneath, but pigmented enough to blend the colours together.
