Out and about with the soothsayer of all things anti-ageing, Stephanie Darling talks procedures with Kaye Scott from The Clinic.

What age should women start looking at injectables?

Our average age at The Clinic is about 30. Personally, I think you are better off preventatively looking after your skin with sunblock and wearing sunglasses. It’s all about protection. I think Botox is good from 30 right up to 50 and beyond. But from 40 on you should pull back on the quantity of Botox and focus on fine-tuning because you’re meant to have some wrinkles at 50. That’s why people say I don’t want to look fake. It’s when you are frozen with no wrinkles on your face, that’s when you start to look fake. The aim is to look good for your age, not ridiculous. Be educated and ask, “How many units of Botox am I having?” so you make sure you are getting the right result.
