Worried that the 15-year-old is running amok while in Guy’s care, Madonna’s supposedly now hired a private investigator to spy on him.
Website TMZ says multiple sources connected with the singer are saying that Madonna believes Guy has set no rules for Rocco.
He’s not enrolled in school, hanging out in skate parks, smoking and essentially doing anything he wants, the reports say.
“We’re told the animosity runs deep between Madonna and Guy … she feels strongly their son needs structure and he’s unable and unwilling to provide it.”
The bitter dispute is said to have reached a head before Christmas with Madonna going to court to try and force Rocco to return from London to New York for the holidays.
Tired of touring with Madonna, the youngster is said to have finally fallen out with his mum after she confiscated his mobile phone.
He’s been holed up in London ever since with his famous movie director dad (The Man from U.N.C.L.E), his gorgeous new wife Jacqui Ainsley, below, and their three children Rafael, four, Rivka, three, and Levi, 18 months.
Guy and Rocco were recently photographed cycling together through city streets, smiling and clearly enjoying the father-son bonding.
Not to be outdone, Madonna, 57, took to Instagram to post her own precious family moments during a tour break in Thailand.
She showed one image of her children, David, 10, and Mercy, nine, extending their arms with spiritual bracelets on, with the caption: “Brotherly Sisterly Love 4 Ever”.
In another shot, she showed David in one of Bangkok’s Buddhist temples. She wrote: “David. Praying with the monks at Wat Pho in Bangkok! Receiving blessings for his brothers and sisters”.
In January 2016 Madonna also fired off a more direct salvo at Guy as she signed off on her US leg of her Rebel Heart world tour.
Audience members in Nashville say they clearly heard her utter an obscenity aimed squarely at Guy.
The singer also posted a cryptic tweet: “Now more than ever………… evenheartsmadeoutofsteelcanbreak.”
