From a new lip treatment promising a plumper pout to a pumpkin-shaped bath bomb that gets us in the Halloween spirit, this week’s new beauty products cover a little bit of everything.
Shimmer Lip Gloss Trio, $28.50, by Carmex
Going where your 13 year old could only dream of, the new Carmex’s Shimmer Lip Gloss trio gives the iconic balm of your adolescence a glow up.
This set features three shades: Raspberry, Watermelon and Vanilla. And, each gloss delivers a sheer wash of shimmer with a non-sticky finish designed to feel comfortable on the lips. The brand also claims up to 24 hours of hydration, making this a handy set for anyone who likes a little shine.

Butta Drop Body Milk in Vanilla Flowers and Hey, Bouquet, $52 each, by Fenty at Sephora
If your body care routine could take a break from your supermarket staples, Fenty has added two new scents to its Butta Drop Body Milk lineup. Vanilla Flowers is warm and sweet, with vanilla orchid, Tahitian vanilla, sugared woods and fluffy musk. Hey, Bouquet takes the floral route with rose, jasmine, pink peppercorn, sandalwood and vanilla. Both have a lightweight texture designed to absorb quickly and leave skin with a satin finish. Your daily moisturiser just got a fragrance wardrobe.

1cc CollaShot Plump Serum, $112, by Kiehl’s at Mecca
Pink serum? We’re listening. Kiehl’s 1cc CollaShot Plump Serum has a bouncy gel-serum texture and a rosy hue from Vitamin B12, but the real talking point is the formula. It combines recombinant collagen polypeptides with Rhamnose, with the brand reporting a 21% increase in visible skin volume after 12 weeks in a study of 109 participants. Instrumental testing also found hydration lasting up to 48 hours. At $112, it’s firmly in investment-serum territory, so the plumping claims will be the ones to watch.

10% Glycolic Acid Overnight Peel, $69, by Skinstitut
For anyone whose complexion is looking a little dull, this overnight peel brings 10% glycolic acid to the party, alongside a ceramide complex and peptides. Skinstitut reports visible improvements in skin tone in a 28-day clinical study involving 32 participants. Start with one or two applications a week in the evening, then gradually increase as your skin tolerates it. And please, don’t skip the SPF the next morning. Exfoliation is all well and good until you forget the sunscreen.

The Edge Lip Shaping Pencil, $40, by Haus Labs by Lady Gaga at Sephora
Finding a nude lip liner that doesn’t turn orange, grey or suspiciously close to your foundation shade can feel like a full-time job. Haus Labs by Lady Gaga is making the search a little easier with The Edge Lip Shaping Pencil, available in 18 nude shades designed around different lip tones and undertones. The creamy, high-pigment formula blends easily before settling into a soft matte, transfer-resistant finish. Vitamin E, ceramides and jojoba oil are also in the mix. Your overlining era has options.

Punkin Pumpkin Bath Bomb, $11, by Lush
It’s Pumpkin Spice Latte season. But if you don’t want to drink it, then check our Lush’s Punkin Pumpkin Bath Bomb – a Halloween-ready bath treat scented with cinnamon leaf, lime and sweet wild orange oils that gives you the chance to soak in it instead. It also contains pumpkin powder and delivers the sort of colourful fizz that makes an ordinary Tuesday night feel a little more festive. It’s packaging-free and self-preserving, too. All the seasonal fun, minus another plastic bottle cluttering the bathroom.

Easy Bake Duo (Limited Edition), $76, by Huda Beauty at Sephora
When it comes to iconic collabs, this one is huge. As part of its Ultra Snatched Collection, Huda Beauty has teamed up with Cardi B for a limited-edition take on its Easy Bake duo complete with pink and lilac packaging. The duo includes Cherry Lilac for fair to light skin tones and Pink Ube for medium to tan complexions. Expect the brand’s signature blurring and brightening effect, with up to 18 hours of wear and no flashback. Basically, it’s one for anyone who likes their makeup baked, not their selfies washed out.

HA + Asiaticoside Lip Treatment, $17, by The Ordinary
Launching on 14 October (we got a sneak peek!), The Ordinary’s new lip treatment is worth a look if your lips are perpetually dry or you’re curious about a plumper-looking pout without the spicy, tingling sensation. The formula combines fermented and micro-encapsulated hyaluronic acid with Asiaticoside and Goji Berry Extract. It aims to deliver immediate hydration while improving the appearance of lip definition, tone and texture over time. At $17, it’s a relatively low-commitment way to give your lip care routine a little attention.

Touch Cream to Powder Blush, $85, by Prada at The Iconic
A blush that can pull double duty on your lips and eyes? Prada’s Touch Cream to Powder Blush is designed to do all three. It starts with a creamy texture before setting to a soft matte finish, with buildable colour and up to 12 hours of wear promised by the brand. There are eight shades to choose from, plus stackable packaging for anyone who appreciates a makeup bag that isn’t a chaotic jumble of compacts. At $85, it’s a luxury little multitasker.

Anti-Ageing Hand Cream , $34.95, by Boost Lab
Hands can be the first place you notice dryness, fine lines and dark spots, yet hand cream is often the product we forget until our knuckles start staging a protest. Boost Lab’s unscented Anti-Ageing Hand Cream combines Kakadu Plum, ceramides, hyaluronic acid and collagen amino acids in a quick-absorbing formula designed to target the visible signs of ageing, including crepey skin. The 75ml tube is easy to keep beside your bed or at your desk, where you’ll hopefully remember to use it. (Keep an eye out for its Priceline drop on October 20th)

2-in-1 Glazing Milk & Gradual Tan, $29, by Quick Flick at Priceline
For those who like a little glow without committing to a full fake-tan routine, Quick Flick has combined a hydrating body milk with gradual tanning ingredients and instant shimmer. Hyaluronic acid and Kakadu Plum help hydrate the skin, while DHA and Erythrulose build colour over time. The brand promises a streak-free finish without orange tones or transfer, and the formula is vegan and cruelty-free. Think moisturised, glowy limbs with a little extra help from your body care shelf.

Lip Sno. Lip Exfoliant, $25, by Balmydays
If your lip balm keeps catching on dry flakes, it might be time to give your pout a gentle reset. Balmydays’ Lip Sno. Lip Exfoliant uses fine sugar crystals to buff away dry, flaky skin, while a serum-like base helps nourish the lips. The Berry Pavlova scent adds a sweet twist to the ritual. Just remember that lips are delicate, so gentle exfoliation is the goal, not scrubbing them into submission.

Bamboo Intimate Wipes in Fig & Waterlily, $8, by Epzen at Priceline
Epzen’s bamboo intimate wipes are designed for those moments when you want a quick refresh, whether you’re commuting, travelling or heading straight from the gym to your next appointment. The pH-balanced wipes feature prebiotics to support the skin’s microbiome, plus a low-allergen fig and waterlily fragrance. They’re alcohol-free and SLS-free, too, and come in a handy 20-pack that’s easy to stash in your handbag, car or travel bag.

Repair Recovery Shampoo + Conditioner, $63, by Virtue Labs at Sephora
Summer can be hard on our hair, with UV exposure, salt water, chlorine and humidity all contributing to dryness, frizz and breakage. Enter Virtue Labs’ Repair Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner, a duo designed to replenish dry, damaged and depleted strands.
Both formulas feature Alpha Keratin 60ku, Virtue’s bio-identical keratin, which helps repair damage and restore softer, more hydrated-looking hair. The brand reports that 97% of users found their hair felt softer after one use.
Think of it as a little extra TLC for hair that’s been through a lot, whether that’s regular heat styling, colour treatments or a few too many afternoons in the sun.

Freckle Pen, $13, by 1000Hour at Priceline
Fake freckles without the sun damage? We’re listening. The new 1000HOUR Freckle Pen taps into summer’s natural, freckled makeup trend, creating a sun-kissed look without the actual sun exposure.
Its multi-contoured applicator stamps on several dots at once, mimicking the irregular pattern of natural freckles across the nose and cheeks. You can build up the colour for a more defined look or keep things subtle, depending on your mood.
The smudge-proof formula works on bare skin or over makeup and washes off with your daily cleanser. No painstakingly drawing on individual dots required.
