This crispy, gooey Boursin has been all over TikTok for a reason – a whole wheel of cheese, breaded and fried until golden, then drenched in hot honey and scooped up with crackers. It takes six ingredients and 15 minutes, and it’s the kind of recipe that disappears the second it hits the table.

The viral version just got easier – and healthier! – courtesy of a good spritz of Cobram Estate’s new Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray. Propellant-free and made from 100% Australian EVOO, it coats the panko evenly without any chemicals or gas, so what you’re air frying is pure olive oil, not aerosol filler. It’s the same trick that works for air fryer trays, roast veg and grilled seafood – one spray bottle doing the work of a dozen kitchen staples.

  • 1 wheel of Boursin cheese (any flavour)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • Cobram Estate Olive oil spray
  • Hot honey (for serving)

  1. Set up a breading station with three small bowls: one for flour, one for the beaten egg, and one mixed with Panko bread crumbs, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat the Boursin wheel completely in flour, dip it into the egg, and then press it firmly into the Panko mixture so the crumbs stick to all sides.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C for five minutes.
  4. Place the coated cheese in the air fryer basket.
  5. Spray the top and sides generously with olive oil spray until the crumbs look evenly moistened.
  6. Air fry for 5 minutes at 200°C until golden and crispy.
  7. Remove carefully and drizzle with hot honey before serving with crackers.
