A Victorian residence on Military Road, ironwork verandahs intact, harbour light pooling through the original windows. This is Boronia House – the fourth Sydney address for Saint Clinic Group, and arguably the most personal. Founder Dr Joseph Hkeik has spent twenty-six years building the group across Double Bay, Balmain, North Parramatta and, more recently, Le Petit Saint in Mayfair. Boronia House, opening for appointments from late July, is where all of that arrives at something like a thesis.

Mosman wasn’t a shortlist decision. Hkeik talks about the suburb’s relationship to the harbour and its gardens the way most people talk about family. The building sealed it – a heritage-listed property with, in his words, “a sense of permanence and quiet dignity that you cannot manufacture.” Interior designer Blainey North led the restoration, working alongside heritage advisors to keep the original proportions and ironwork rather than smooth them into something more contemporary. Hkeik puts it simply: “The building has its own logic, its own rhythm. Our role was to listen to it.”

Inside, the shift is immediate. No harsh lighting, no waiting-room hum. A tonic bar pours wellness elixirs – Par Olive Collagen among them – before anyone’s even called through for treatment. Hkeik doesn’t separate the architecture from the medicine. “The space itself is the first treatment,” he says. “It begins doing its work before a patient has even sat down.”

The walls carry his own art collection, several pieces by his own hand shown publicly for the first time – decades of private work he’s finally ready to share.

On the clinical front, nothing is scaled back. Boronia House runs the full All Saint Clinic programme: injectables, energy-based technologies, the group’s signature facial menu, delivered by its Dermal Therapists and Aesthetic Doctors. What’s different is the address it happens at.

“Where someone receives care is part of that care,” Hkeik says. It’s the closest thing Boronia House has to a mission statement – and, walking through it, hard to argue with.
