Meet the Mont Blanc: A Cold Brew Coffee With a Cherry on Top

Born out of Melbourne’s ever-evolving cafe scene, the Mont Blanc coffee has become something of a modern classic — a dessert-leaning cold brew defined by contrast and composition. Traditionally, it pairs a slow-steeped base with a softly whipped cream top, lifted by citrus notes like orange zest and the warmth of nutmeg, creating that signature “snow-capped” effect reminiscent of its alpine namesake.

This Cherry Mont Blanc offers a more delicate interpretation. The citrus edge is swapped for cherry blossom — floral, restrained, and quietly aromatic — layered over a smooth cold brew and finished with a light, floating cream. The result is refined rather than rich: a drink that plays on texture and subtle sweetness, where each sip moves from dark to soft, echoing the layered silhouette that made the original a cult favourite.

Soft, sweet, and oh-so decadent – think of it as your usual iced coffee, dressed up for brunch: delicate cherry blossom notes woven through rich Melbourne Blend, finished with a cloud-like cream that floats just enough to feel fancy without trying too hard.
