It’s been over a week since Hollywood’s Biggest Awards Night. But, some looks just won’t quit. Here are seven of the best Oscar’s hair trends that we’re still thinking about. And how to get the look at home.

And the award for hottest hair trend goes to …

Revlon Professional’s artistic ambassador and hairstylist Ben Martin has his finger on the pulse of Oscars hair trends. “We’re seeing a strong return to classic shapes – buns, bobs, and polished blowouts – but they’re being reimagined with softer finishes and personal expression,” he notes.

Sleek buns dominated the night. “A clean, elegant up-do doesn’t just look sophisticated – it lifts and elongates the neck, framing the face beautifully. It’s incredibly flattering and gives that feminine, old-world elegance,” Martin explains. The practical perks are clear, too: “When you want the dress to do the talking, an up-do creates separation and avoids constantly adjusting hair, which can disrupt the overall look.”

He also observed a trend toward personality-driven styling. “Younger actresses are taking risks, blending individuality with the formality of the event. From textured braids to voluminous curls, it’s polished but not predictable.”

However one of his favourite trends – shorter styles – also made a big impact. “Emma Stone’s bixie – a hybrid of bob and pixie – is playful, modern, and full of movement. We’re predicting a surge of bobs in the near future,” Martin says.

Rose Byrne

For the 2026 Oscars, KERASILK Ambassador and celebrity hairstylist Harry Josh styled Rose Byrne in a timeless twisted bun that exuded modern refinement. The sleek style highlighted her Dior gown while maintaining effortless elegance.

How to get the look:

  • Apply KERASILK Smoothing Blow Dry Cream and blow-dry using tension for a smooth finish.
  • Backcomb the crown, create a low ponytail, secure with a net, and twist into a bun.
