It was billed as the biggest and best Super Bowl half time show of all time, and Lady Gaga didn’t disappoint.

Literally falling from the sky, the body-suited pop dynamo turned on one of the most high-octane shows ever seen at the most watched sports event of the year.

She made frequent use of acrobatics, platforms, and a whole lot of lights. She even managed to catch a ball and fall from a stage by the end.

Gaga’s vocals were also impeccable, despite all the theatrics.

She performed a medley of her biggest hits, including Bad Romance, Born This Way, Telephone, and Just Dance, without missing a beat.

She also took to a piano for a stunning rendition of her new single A Million Reasons.

There had been a ton of speculation pre-show that Gaga, a vocal Hillary Clinton supporter in the 2016 presidential election, might use the stage for a dig at Donald Trump.

Aside from pointed reference to the Pledge of Allegiance, quoting, “one nation under God, invisible, with liberty and justice for all, she also kept it the music.

Shortly after Gaga dropped her microphone at the end of her set, celebrities took to social media to congratulate her on a job well done. “@ladygaga you killed that!!!!” Bruno Mars, who headlined the 2014 Super Bowl halftime show and made a guest appearance during Coldplay’s set last year, wrote on Twitter.

Katy Perry, who slayed the 2015 Super Bowl halftime show, was clearly a fan of Gaga’s impressive jump from the stadium roof to the stage. “I want jumping gifs stat!” she tweeted. “Bravo @ladygaga.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden, who previously collaborated with Gaga on efforts to end sexual assault on college campuses, also praised the American Horror Story actress. “Incredible performance from my friend @LadyGaga,” he wrote on Twitter. “You amaze me — and not just onstage. Proud to work with you to end sexual assault. #ItsOnUs.”
