Jurlique 40th Birthday

Happy birthday to the beauty brand that’s been bottling nature’s best florals for four decades! Jurlique is turning the big 4-0, this July. And, like any milestone worth celebrating, they’re doing it in style – by launching something truly special. The beauty in bloom is the Intense Rose, a world-first botanical beauty born to mark the momentous occasion.

Jurlique has never built its brand on fleeting fads or flashy gimmicks. Instead, their roots (quite literally) are in the lush Adelaide Hills, where they’ve been nurturing biodynamic botanicals since 1985. In fact, their farm in the Adelaide Hills, is where they grow every petal and plant with love and care using certified biodynamic methods.

It’s also a place where soil health, plant potency, and environmental harmony go hand-in-hand. And, with their B Corp certification now firmly in hand, Jurlique continues to prove that ethical beauty isn’t just a buzzword. It’s their way of life.

So, when it came time to commemorate 40 years of naturally effective, conscious skin care, they didn’t just throw a party – they grew a brand new rose.

Co-founder Ulrike Klein calls roses “the queen of plants when it comes to skin care.” And, Jurlique’s new Intense Rose is proof of that royal status. Created by legendary rose breeder George Thomson, this beauty is a blend of strength, elegance, and olfactory delight. With petals that shift from ruby red to moody blue and a fragrance that’s both rich and whisper-soft, it’s a rose unlike any other.

But, what’s a birthday without gifts? Thankfully, Jurlique’s giving us a present too. Two of them, in fact. The new Intense Rose Balancing Mist and Intense Rose Hand Cream are limited-edition skin care treats that harness the power of this exclusive bloom, along with other skin-loving botanicals like marshmallow root, chamomile and antioxidant-rich actives.

Jurlique 40th Birthday

The Balancing Mist is lightweight, ultra-clean, and infused with an all-natural rosy fragrance. The fine mist mechanism delivers a dreamy, cloud-like spritz that hydrates and soothes in seconds, all housed in a 100% recyclable bottle. It’s your skin’s daily ticket to floral bliss.

Then there’s the Hand Cream, a silky, fast-absorbing formula that pampers dry hands without any greasy residue. It’s rich enough to protect against the elements, yet delicate enough to make applying it feel like a mini spa moment. Plus, it smells divine – thanks again to that glorious Intense Rose.

Both products are crafted with 100% natural origin ingredients and fragrances (officially certified by ISO standards), setting a new benchmark for Jurlique’s clean beauty credentials. It’s the first time one of their mists and hand creams have reached this milestone. And we suspect it won’t be the last.

So, here’s to 40 years of floral power, natural luxury, and innovation that grows from the ground up. And with the Intense Rose just getting started, we can’t wait to see what blooms next.

Happy birthday, Jurlique. You’ve never smelled sweeter.
