The glitterati was out in full force for the launch of David Jones’ Spring/Summer 12-15 collections. David Jones ambassador Jessica Gomes kicked off what was a stunning display of the work of Australia’s finest designers.

David Jones has always been a proud and committed supporter of local talent and celebrities and A-listers alike travelled far and wide to attend the wow-factor show in Sydney, also offering up their support. VIPs included Rachel Griffiths, Jessica Marais and Miranda Otto who are all long-time fans of our home-grown fashion talent alongside a raft of Aussi personalities and models like Zac and Jordan Stemark and Megan Gale. And of course, no fashion show would be complete without a full compliment of fashion bloggers like Nicole Warne of garypeppergirl.com and Tash & Elle from They All Hate Us, among others.

While there was plenty of flesh on the catwalk with sexy swimwear, short shorts, streamlined skirts, crop tops and thigh-high splits galore, it was the separates that took centre stage for Spring/Summer 14-15. Dresses, of course are always a staple summer item, but matchy-match tops and bottoms are making a bold statement for the coming season.
