If you wake up on Monday morning, hit the snooze and think to yourself, ‘here we go again,’ this is the article for you.  I, too, once spent my time and energy creating a life that looked successful on paper but left me feeling unfulfilled.

For years, I believed, ‘if I didn’t wake up tomorrow, it really wouldn’t matter’. This didn’t just cause mental and emotional anguish; this despondency wreaked havoc on my physical body, resulting in aches, pains, and dis-ease – most particularly, depression.

If this resonates, perhaps, like me, you are living to the tune of what society, your family or your friends claimed as a success life, rather than what your soul is calling you towards?

You likely already know of the mind-body connection – the scientifically proven, bidirectional relationship between your mental processes (thoughts, emotions, and beliefs) and your physical health.

But are you aware of the mind-body-spirit connection? This framework views human existence as an inseparable, interconnected triad bridging the physical, the psychological/cognitive and the existential/transcendent (spirit). True well-being requires harmony across all three dimensions.

As a soul-alignment coach, it’s my job to help clients strengthen their connection to their heart’s calling. We then use the thoughts of the mind and the actions of the body to support the purpose and energy of the spirit. (We also focus on nervous system regulation; because if the body doesn’t believe it is safe, we can’t access the deeper and more subtle recesses where our spirit resides.)

Our ultimate goal – to create a life where you are genuinely as excited for Monday morning as you are for Friday afternoon.

The thing is – I’m not special. I don’t have the magical answers. The answers are within you – I simply help people uncover them and identify the strategic, inspired actions to design a new, aligned reality.

Here are my top 5 tips to get started:

  1. Awareness & Intention –
You must first become aware of where you are – and what isn’t working. Take a moment to quietly assess and rate yourself on a scale of 1-10 for how satisfied, vital and radiantly alive you feel for each of the key spheres of wellbeing:
    1. Health & vitality
    1. Career & finance
    1. Play, fun & growth
    1. Purpose & meaning
    1. Relationships
    1. Lifestyle balance
    1. Connection to Family / Friends / Community
    1. Spiritual Connection

Once you’ve ranked each sphere, reflect on which matters most, and choose with intention to prioritise this area for the next 6 months.

  • Clarity – get crystal clear on what matters:
What matters to you today isn’t necessarily what mattered to you 5 or 15 years ago. It likely isn’t what you were taught to value either.

This is the time to get to the heart of what you value, what makes your life worth living and what your unique definition of success is. It will not be the same as your friend, your partner or your parents. It is unique to you.  To help, ask yourself, “If I could wave a magic wand tomorrow and no one would be hurt and no one would be negatively impacted, what new reality would I create for myself?” Use this as your North Star.

  • Understand and embrace your inherent design –
Embedded within each of us is a unique blueprint that holds the keys to understanding yourself at the deepest level of your being. Your Sou’s Unique Blueprint reveals (and reminds you) of the gifts, purpose and passions unique to you. As you understand, align & embrace your inherent design, more flow, ease and synchronicities will appear in your life. You can get your free Blueprint on my website at annmariegrace.com/unique  (You will need your time, place and date of birth).
  • Connect into your Inner Wisdom –
Within each of us is infinite wisdom. You have a spark – your soul – the part of you that has never been separate and will always be whole. This part of you knows and understands your inherent design and the purpose that wishes to be lived through you. You can access your inner wisdom through meditation and future-self visioning to gain subtle direction and guidance your rational mind is not privy to.
  • Courage, Commitment & Trust in the Unknown –

The final step is the easiest – and the hardest. Having the courage & commitment to take inspired action –small brave steps towards what has been revealed to you, trusting the path as it unfolds in its own timing.

Following these simple steps helps create a life that is uniquely & majestically your own. It won’t be linear, but you can support it through trust and commitment (or stall it through lack of action or failing to trust the process).

A vibrant and wildly beautiful life is yours for the taking. Are you ready?
