Almost two years after the cheating scandal that made national headlines, NRL Footy Show star Beau Ryan has announced that wife Kara is pregnant with their second child.

The popular funnyman released a gorgeous shot of his hand with Kara’s and their four-year-old daughter Remi’s resting on top of the burgeoning baby bump.

“Three of us, soon to be four. Excited. Happy. Blessed,” Beau shares with his 344,000 followers.

Kara followed the lead of her husband of five years, sharing the same photo and message to her own Instagram account shortly after.

It’s been a testing couple of years for the couple, after Beau’s affair with former Hi-5 member Lauren Brant became public in 2015.

The reportedly began seeing each other while starring in the Aladdin And His Wondrous Lamp stage show.

Coincidentally, Lauren is also currently expecting her first child with partner Barry Hall, after they met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year.

Kara opened up about the “cheating” scandal earlier in 2016, and how the couple worked through the trying time.

“I was actually more worried for Beau, if I’m honest,” the mother-of-one told Woman’s Day at the time.

“I’m probably emotionally stronger than Beau, and I could see how upset he was, so I was more concerned for him and our family.”

Despite the cheating allegations, Kara maintained that Beau, 31, was still a good father and husband.

“The grass isn’t always greener, and while it was a difficult situation, running from anything in life is never the answer,” she added.

Beau would later address the affair on his return to the NRL Footy Show after an enforced break from the panel.

“Firstly, I just want to apologise to all the people who have been hurt recently. It’s been really, really hard for myself and my family and everyone involved,” he said.

“I want to thank everyone for their support, and thank everyone who has been very respectful of our privacy – I’d love for people to continue to do that.”

Beau and Kara were childhood sweet hearts and announced their engagement while the blonde was pregnant with their daughter Remi in August 2012.

They tied the knot just two months later.
