Alex Nation agonised over whether to show Richie Strahan pictures of her five-year-old son Elijah while filming The Bachelor.
Now, Richie’s controversial final choice says she’s about to introduce the two favourite men in her life for the first time.

In response to an inquisitive Instagram fan asking when the important first meet would take place, Alex writes: “In the next month. It’s something we don’t want to rush and we want to really enjoy that special moment together xx”.
In another comment she writes: “I’ll be heading home to him soon. he is such a gorgeous little man. Yes it is a very exciting time and I’ll certainly cherish that moment.”
Although filming of The Bachelor finished three months ago, Alex, 25, and Richie have had other priorities up until now.
Following the airing of the top-rating finale in Bali, the lovebirds took flight across the country to attend a string of interviews before jetting off for their first holiday together.

They returned back to Australia after the brief trip, only to head to Perth to take in the fashion festival and spend time with Richie’s family.
They’ve also been busy on various photo shoots together, in various states of undress.
Meanwhile, Elijah is spending time with his father Joel Porter, who confirmed he is looking after the boy throughout the school break.
Joel and Alex were briefly married after the blonde gave birth to their son in 2011.
Earlier, Alex responded to accusations she was “neglecting” Elijah for TV fame and her relationship with Richie.

She also hit back at fan accusations that Joel’s girlfriend Ashy Smith has recently taken on the role of ‘stepmother’ to Elijah.
“My little boy is everything to me,” she told a videographer while leaving a Melbourne restaurant with Richie recently.
“I know who I am and I know what kind of mother I am so they don’t bother me.”
