No sooner than his 44 year old sweetheart had posted on Instagram, Willis also took to social media to share the news himself with a Facebook post…

Cutting a fine and happy figure on the cover of Who magazine, Bridges has revealed she’s now four months pregnant and while they do know the sex of their baby, they’re keeping that one a secret.

The couple somewhat controversially began dating about two years ago after having worked side by side on hit TV show Australia’s Biggest Loser since 2007. At the time their relationship started, Bridges was still married to her then husband, Bill Moore and Willis was in a long-standing relationship with the mother of his two other children, Froso. The couple declared that there was no wrong doing or indeed, an affair, with a statement in May 2013 from Bridges defending their actions; “I would definitely like to clarify that we have only had a development in our feeling for other since we both separated from our respective partners. that for me is really important. We are sorry if we caused any upset to people; it wasn’t intentional. It’s hard to watch things get thrown around that aren’t true.”

Michelle was never fixated on being a mother. She told Who, “It’s always been more like, ‘Yeah, that would be cool but it’s got to be the right time.’ It had to feel right and with the twists and turns of my life, now is the right time now is the perfect time, actually. Steve and I are in love with each other. Who wouldn’t want to have a child with someone they love?”

At 44 years of age, there’s little doubt that Bridges’ health and wellbeing have positively contributed to her success in falling pregnant so quickly, and naturally. She told Who “There’s a lot to be said about health and the way in which you both, the father and the mother, combine those efforts for good health. I’m a big believer in cleaning up the diet and sticking to a healthy preconception plan, and that’s pretty much what I did.”

While this will be Bridges’ first child, Willis already has three children, Ella, six, Jack three, and Brianna, 15, from two previous relationships – and he just adores being a dad. He told Who, “As frustrating as it is from time to time, as any parent can attest to, I just can’t help laughing sometimes because they are just these great little characters. They just remind you as adults what is still possible and what we’re capable of. Seeing them grow up and the bonds they have with each other… In years gone by it was children be seen and not heard. Now, they’re active participants in our lives, and we learn a lot from them. I love it! That’s the best.”
