Michael Townsend

Michael Townsend is The Carousel's regular travel writer. Born in England, moved to New-Zealand and now living in Australia, he loves covering travel and seeing all the world has to offer. He has been to Tahiti, Andorra, France and Indonesia, to name a few, and has recently covered Singapore. In particular, he is interested in adventure activities, site-seeing and food, covering them from the perspective of families looking to travel abroad and overseas, or young couples wanting a romantic getaway. When he is not travelling to far flung places, he is studying law at Sydney University.
