Summertime by La Gordonne Rosé is a crisp, fruity rose that is just perfect for Valentine’s Day. This soft pink Rosé hails from the romatic Cotes de Provence region of France. It features intense red berries with a hint of pink grapefruit citrus. It has a lovely long, soft finish, making it the perfect accompaniment to seafood, or summer salad.
About Summertime by La Gordonne Rosé
The provincial domain of Chateua La Gordonne, where this special drop was produced, boasts 330 hectares of vines that are cultivated in a ‘schist cirque’ (metamorphic rock), which faces towards the ocean.
This allows the vines to benefit from a special microclimate with mild winters and hot, dry summers. It also, along with strong, dry winds, protects them from humidity related disease. This produces a gorgeous wine, bursting with summer fruits.
