Ingredients:

One garlic bulb, vodka, lemon juice, red wine, worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, tomato juice, black pepper and chilli salt.

To Make:

For the Garlic Vodka: Bring one garlic bulb to boil in water. When the water has come to a boil, finish off bulb in oven. The garlic is ready when soft. Peel and use 1 clove of garlic per 750ml of vodka. Let steep at least 24 hours before serving. The Bloody Gary: Start with the Tabasco and crushed black pepper in a highball glass. (Drinker’s preference for ‘spicy’ will determine how much Tabasco you use). Fill the glass with ice and add the rest of the ingredients, ending with the Tomato juice. Stir the mix in a cocktail shaker and pour into a High ball glass. Crack some more black pepper on top and garnish with a lemon slice.

Slushie Floats- Recipe from Sed Bona

Ingredients:

The original recipe uses rosé but I think it works just as well with a light red wine. Vanilla ice cream, small bag of frozen mixed berries, 1 bottle of wine, a handful of fresh berries, handful of ice and edible gold stars for garnish.

To Make:

In a blender combine the bag of frozen berries with half the bottle of wine. Add fresh berries and ice and blend until you have a desirable “slushie” consistency. To serve pour half the slushie mixture into the bottom of tall glasses. Add a large scoop of ice cream then top with remaining slushie mixture. Add one more scoop of ice cream and sprinkle with gold stars.
