Life is too short not to be happy. According to the World Happiness Forum and Martin Seligman’s book Authentic Happiness, we can improve our levels of happiness. Martin says “The positive feeling that arises from the exercise of strengths and virtues, rather than from the shortcuts, is authentic.”
The happy life is using your own strengths to enhance your internal happiness over different aspects of your life such as at work, with kids, family or friends. Feelings are momentary and are not always reoccurring in our personality. So we can learn how to trigger positive feelings more often.
Your brain is a muscle, use it or lose it
The brain you are born with is not a fixed thing. Science has proven that the brain has endless potential and can be trained to improve skills and intelligence to be kinder, happier person. If you hear negative chatter in your voice, you need to monitor this negative voice and counteract act with a positive one. Imagine yourself pulling out the negative thoughts like weeds in a garden.
Get Rid of Your Resentments and Negative Emotions
People carry their resentments and jealousies towards other people. Negative emotions towards others do not benefit anyone. Whilst other people may have done you wrong, you will benefit by letting go of these negative thoughts. The mind is not just the thinking mind, it is the emotional mind and they are intrinsically linked.

A smile also signals to other humans that you are a happier, likeable and more attractive individual.
