Winter sales, mid year sales and end of financial year sales are all on their way, but how about a next level shopping experience ?

If you are in Melbourne and you are up for some fun and adventure you might want to head to Federation Square for a stunning 48 hour event. From 31 May to 1 June, UNIQLO will take over Federation Square, transforming the space into an interactive hub of activity, encouraging visitors to immerse themselves in an all-encompassing experience that brings to life the core components of UNIQLO’s down collection colour, lightness and water-repellency. Precisely what the current Melbourne weather demands !

UNIQLO Down Town will spark imagination, bringing three unique spaces to life -a blackout cube filled with moving light installations and mirrors to ignite the senses, before you jump your way through a giant, clear, bounce box. Yes, what could be a better way to keep warm and have some fun with your shopping posse.

A colourful maze installation will await in the third space, situated beneath a rainwater exterior. If you are not up to speed with the gorgeous UNIQLO DOWN collection, come along and explore the extensive range of vests, jackets, parkas and coats perfect for keeping you warm year round.

Using only the latest technology to delivery functional benefits for your life regardless if your only outdoor activity is the commute to work travailing the winter weather or you’re at the snow.

Why doesn’t Japanese brand UNIQLO Spark Joy for cool climates?

  • Premium down filling: UNIQLO down outerwear comes packed with a mix of real, ethically-sourced premium down to create the ultimate lightweight warmth.
  • Water repellent: UNIQLO down outerwear features a water repellent coating to keep moisture out and keep you dry. Water rolls off the surface thanks to the coating of the material.
  • Lightweight: Our premium down delivers superior warmth, without added weight. The streamline silhouette of our down outerwear makes it the perfect travel companion. As a curvy girl the streamline silhouette scores bonus points for me.

So if you are looking for a unique, fun way to celebrate Winter, get the best items to keep you toasty and stylish throughout the season and have some fun with your shopping buddies, head to Federation Square.

UNIQLO Down Town is jam packed with surprise and delight moments to help celebrate the start of winter! UNIQLO Down Town is free to the public – so be sure to mark your calendars, as it’s a destination that must be seen to be believed !

UNIQLO Down Town running times:

-12pm – 8pm, Friday 31st May

-11am – 5pm, Saturday 1st June
