If your nails have been quietly minding their business in “clean girl neutral beige” territory, we’re sorry to advise that, that era is officially over! Well, at least, until someone drops a sequel.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The new limited-edition OPI x Supergirl collab has landed, and it’s here to save the day. Or, at a minimum, your understated hand situation. In a very non-nude way.
Dropping in Australia from 1 June 2026, the collab between OPI OPI, Warner Bros. Pictures Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios DC Studios is basically what happens when a superhero gets a beauty PR team and says, “make it louder.” And they did.
Your nails … with a cape
This isn’t “subtle winter creams” vibes This is “I might save the city after brunch” energy.
OPI has gone full multiverse mode with bold reds, electric blues, shimmer explosions and gold metallics that look like they were stolen straight from a superhero armour closet. It’s giving confidence. Chaos. And, don’t text your ex, text your nail tech.
Across the range, you’ll find six Nail Lacquers exclusive to Myer (hello Up Up and Ablaze, Cape it Real), six RapiDry shades at Chemist Warehouse for people who cannot sit still for polish to dry (valid), and six Sticking Point press-on sets that basically said: salon appointment? never met her.

Press-on Super Power
The Sticking Point Instant Mani situation, also stars – giving main character with a backstory.
We’re talking aura nails, star outlines, cartoon-style art, red shimmer, Supergirl icon details… basically your hands are now their own cinematic universe. Each set feels like it should come with a theme song and a slow-motion wind machine.
Plus, with names like Aura We There Yet, She’s a Hero, and Red-y to Argo, you’d be forgiven for confusing yourself for a real-life superhero.
The colour palette said: no chill allowed
The new OPI x Supergirl collab delivers unhinged. In the best possible way.
Think fiery orange cremes for when you’re feeling a bit feral. Aquamarine shimmers for “mermaid but make it power move.” Blush pinks for soft life delusion. Deep cosmic blues for mysterious side character energy. And a glittery purple packed with star foil because apparently your nails deserve a galaxy moment.
Then there’s Power Up Pink and Battle Red-y, which sound less like nail polish and more like you’re about to enter a final boss fight. Which, depending on your week, might be accurate.
This is not a subtle era
In case you haven’t guesses, this is not “quiet luxury” nails.
Not a mistake. According to OPI, the whole point is to channel your inner hero. Translation: you are absolutely allowed – nay encouraged – to be a little dramatic about your manicure now.
Because if Supergirl can fly across cities, save lives and still commit to a signature colour palette, the least we can do is wear sparkly red polish to reply to emails we don’t want to answer.
So whether you’re slapping on press-ons at 11:47pm, rushing a RapiDry mani before a night out, or committing to a full lacquer moment at Myer, just know one thing: Your nails are no longer an accessory. They’re the plot.
