Racing legend Gai Waterhouse, VRC Chairman Amanda Elliott and international model Nicole Trunfio stole the show in the fashion stakes at the annual VRC Kennedy Oaks Club Lunch which was held at Crown Palladium.

The event, now in its 29th year, was hosted by Network 10 personalities Angela Bishop and Peter Helliar, and saw more than 1500 walk the ‘pink carpet’ in stunning racewear and millinery.
The afternoon’s entertainment kicked off with the soulful sounds of Mahalia Barnes who belted out a medley of old school soul classics. The Victoria Racing Club also welcomed international supermodel Nicole Trunfio as a special guest on the day.
Rounding out the afternoon with a high energy party set was Vanessa Amorosi who got the crowd out of their seats dancing ending with her all time classic Absolutely Everybody.
Special guests included VRC Chairman Amanda Elliott, leading trainer and VRC ambassador Georgia Connolly, plus Melbourne Cup Carnival ambassador Tegan Martin.
