Jennifer Hawkins In A Cocktail Of Colour At MYER SS15 Launch

Myer’s Spring/Summer 2015 runway was awash with colour as the face of Myer, Jennifer Hawkins opened the show in a super-sexy lace dress and hair by Kevin Murphy in shades of pink.

Hawkins was joined on the catwalk by ambassadors Kris Smith, Kate Peck and Nicole Trunfio showcasing the new season’s collections from brands like Alex Perry, Toni Maticevski, Fleur Wood, Little Joe by Gail Elliot, Seafolly, White Suede, Lisa Ho, By Johnny.

Trim, taut and terrific bodies glistened amidst the high-octane colour palettes and the sharp neoprene lines of Myer’s summer swimwear, while more than 60 of Australia’s leading models showed eager fashion onlookers how to wear this season’s trends. Ladylike cocktail and beach dresses floated alongside the clean and minimalist tailoring of matching top and bottom separates. Art-inspired prints and patterns injected some fun and coloured hair by Kevin Murphy set the ice-cream pop tone for Myer’s season launch.

Jen Hawkins, famous for her long mane of blonde locks was convinced by super-star hairdresser Kevin Murphy to go a shade of pink for the night. Hawkins said of her dip-dyed look, “I thought why not – live a little. I wanted to do it in a way that was accessible to the audience.””
