SAG Awards Thrills & Spills as Naomi Watts Trips

Widely regarded as the best indication for who will take out the Oscar’s, the 21st Screen Actor’s Guild Awards once again had all the usual ups and downs of a Hollywood awards gig. Including, a very graceful ‘slip n’ save’ from our very own Aussie darling, Naomi Watts.

Wearing a figure-hugging Balenciaga gown, the 46 year old actress was making her way to the podium to accept the best cast award for Birdman, when she tripped, very gracefully on co-star Emma Stone’s train.

The mother-of-two managed to catch herself from falling, with a running commentary of “Oh my God WOW’, a little help from co-star Edward Norton and a very apologetic Emma Stone!

Watts’ little stumble was reminiscent of J-Law’s double-spill in 2013 (below) and who can forget those Vivienne Westwood shoes that almost killed supermodel Naomi Campbell on a Paris catwalk back in 1993.
