Sweat, heat and movement form the unlikely starting point for Endorphi, the Australian skin care brand redefining post-workout recovery through science, simplicity and skin resilience. Founded by injury management consultant Esthefana Desai, the start-up is built on a refreshingly grounded idea: that skin care should fit into motion, not interrupt it. Rather than chasing glow for mere aesthetics, Esthefana is reimagining skin care as functional recovery — a way to help active bodies reset, rebalance and repair after sweat, friction and bacterial exposure.

While other brands deliver fleeting trends and overpromising formulas, Endorphi stands out for its practicality. Esthefana isn’t interested in chasing perfect skin; she’s creating products that respond to the realities of active life.

Sweat, heat and friction can compromise the skin barrier, trigger irritation and fuel post-workout breakouts. It was a problem Esthefana witnessed first-hand with her clients, from gym-goers and runners to hot Pilates devotees and shift workers. What was missing, she realised, was a solution that worked with biology, not against it.

That solution became Endorphi, anchored by one hero product: Reset Mist. This hypochlorous acid (HOCl) face and body spray, formulated at a skin-friendly pH of 5.5 and around 200 ppm, is fragrance- and alcohol-free. In effect, it calms redness, reduces bacteria, prevents post-workout breakouts and supports the skin barrier — quickly, gently and without disrupting the microbiome.

“Skin irritation from sweat, bacteria and friction is unspoken but incredibly common,” says Esthefana. “Endorphi bridges immune science and real-life motion. We don’t market perfect skin — we market functional, healed skin.”

HOCl may sound clinical, but it’s quietly revolutionary. Naturally produced by white blood cells, it’s long been used in medical wound care, dermatology and surgical sanitation thanks to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. When used correctly, it’s potent yet gentle — safe for daily use, even on eczema-, rosacea- and acne-prone skin.

However, the challenge is stability and correct formulation. Many HOCl products are too diluted to be effective or too alkaline, which can dry and irritate. In contrast, Endorphi’s Reset Mist hits the sweet spot. It calms inflammation while respecting the skin’s natural pH — a reflection of Esthefana’s evidence-led philosophy. “Biology already has the answers,” she explains. “We just need to work with it.”

Reset Mist is designed for modern life. Compact enough for gym bags, carry-ons and work totes, it can be spritzed post-workout, on inflamed breakouts, across gym equipment, and even onto pillows and fabrics. It is skin care that moves at the pace of contemporary life. And, supports skin across multiple contexts without extra steps or complicated routines.

Endorphi’s tagline, “Sweat. Reset. Glow.”, encapsulates its ethos: stripped-back functionality over aesthetic perfection. It’s about resilience — helping skin recover faster, feel calmer and function better. As high-intensity training, hot Pilates and endurance sports surge, the need for active-lifestyle skin care grows — a category previously dominated by alcohol-based cleansers and harsh antibacterial sprays that overlooked barrier health. Consequently, Endorphi fills that gap with a local, science-backed, honest solution.

Sustainability is quietly woven into the brand’s DNA. Produced in small batches to maintain freshness and efficacy, Reset Mist prioritises quality over mass production. It is a philosophy aligned with thoughtful consumption.

For Esthefana the journey is personal as well as professional. “Endorphi was born from real needs — mine, my clients’ and those of active people everywhere. I wanted something that genuinely worked. Something I could trust on compromised skin. And, something that supported healing rather than chasing trends.”

From its clean INCI list to its calm, science-led storytelling, Endorphi delivers clarity, credibility and care in a saturated beauty world. As hypochlorous acid quietly rises in professional skin care, Endorphi is poised to lead the category locally. Not with loud marketing, but with trust, results and relevance.

Ultimately, Endorphi is a brand for those who live in motion: for bodies that sweat, for skin that works hard, and for people who want their skin care to do the same.
