“Love what you have been given,” she writes alongside a picture of her jeans and a pair of scissors she’s used to modify them for the US summer.

“There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever). There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all).

“There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer’s are just too dang short for this summer’s thighs. Bodies change. Bodies grow. Bodies shrink. It’s all love (don’t let anyone tell you otherwise).”

Anne Hathaway Spreads Body Positivity

This isn’t the first time that the Oscar-winner has spoken out about the pressure to get back into shape post-baby.

Anne told Ellen DeGeneres that someone stopped her at the gym and pointed out that she must be trying to “lose the baby weight” to which she replied, “No, it’s a little bit too soon to worry about weight. I’m just trying to regain my strength. He said, ‘Great’ and walked away and I cried a little bit.”

Anne and her husband Adam Shulman welcomed their first child, son Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman in March.

She recently confirmed she’ll back at the office as early as October filming an all female spin-off of the hit caper film Oceans Eleven (George Clooney and Brad Pitt) called Oceans Eight.

Although final casting is yet to be confirmed, Hollywood reports suggest Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter and Sandra Bullock have already signed on.
