Rumour has it that Britain’s most famous 16-time Grammy-award-winning songstress tucks into her greens on the regular. Here is Mingle Seasoning’s take on the Adele Salad. Flavour included. Side of vocal chops, not guaranteed.

INGREDIENTS

For the salad

5 x Leaves of kale (approximately 4 cups of chopped kale or any lettuce! )

1 finely diced celery stalk

1 finely diced apple or pear

7-8 toasted walnuts

For the dressing

2 Tbsp of olive oil

Juice of half a lemon (approximately 1 & 1/2 tablespoons)

Generous sprinkle of Mingles Green Goddess seasoning

Optional: For a little sweetness add a drizzle of honey over the top

INSTRUCTIONS

Assemble all salad ingredients and dress with the olive oil, lemon juice and seasoning.

Combine to flavour and top with a sprinkle more seasoning and a touch of honey (optional) when you are ready to serve the Adele Salad to ensure it is fresh.
