Whether you’re gearing up for Dry July, already off the booze, looking for a refreshing way to reset or simply want something fresh for Winter hosting, this no added sugar mocktail ticks all the boxes. Light, botanical and beautifully balanced, it’s proof that sugar-free sipping can be just as satisfying (and a whole lot more hydrating) than their boozy counterparts.

At its core is a dash of classic Bickford’s No Added Sugar Lemon Lime & Bitters cordial – a nostalgic Aussie favourite reimagined with zero added sugar. Add in the mellow notes of chilled chamomile tea, the cool crunch of cucumber and a hit of fresh mint, and you’ve got a drink that’s as calming as it is invigorating. It’s a little garden party in a glass, no alcohol required. (Even if it is a little chilly outside!)

Best of all, it’s a breeze to make. So, whether you’re hosting mates or simply winding down after a long day, this no-added-sugar mocktail is your perfect Dry July staple. Dress it up with edible flowers or a cucumber ribbon, and you’ve got a zero-booze drink that still brings the wow factor.

INGREDIENTS

30ml Bickford’s No Added Sugar Lemon Lime & Bitters cordial

60ml chilled chamomile tea

8 mint leaves

5 cucumber rounds, sliced ½ centimetre thick

½ cup tonic water or soda water

Optional garnish: cucumber ribbon, mint and/or edible flowers

INSTRUCTIONS

Add the cordial, chamomile tea and cucumber to a shaker.

Muddle the cucumber until the juices are released.

Gently clap the mint between your hands to release the oils, then add it to the shaker along with a handful of ice.

Secure the lid and shake well.

Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice, then top with your choice of mixer.

Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and an edible flower. Serve and enjoy!
