Get Insta-Worthy Brows Like Cara Delevingne, Emma Watson And Margot Robbie

Perfectly sculpted brows have come back bigger than ever thanks to the likes of Cara Delevingne, Emma Watson and Margot Robbie. However, there’s a fine line between looking polished and comical, as we noticed when we punched in ‘Instagram Brows’ on Google.

We got the low down from makeup maestro Napoleon Perdis on achieving groomed brows in just a few steps.

Step 1

“A good brow is crucial to perfecting the face so a good tip is to work with the brows you were born with,” says Perdis.

The start of your brows should loosely line up with the sides of the bridge of the nose. To find where the tail of your brow should end, follow an imaginary line from the tip of your nose, past the outer corner of your eye and up towards the temple; where your brow hits this line should be complementary for your face shape and end your perfect brow.

Step 2

“Crisp, blocky edges are generally a sign you’ve gone too far; this type of brow will only make the face look harsh and your brow look unnatural,” said Perdis.

When defining, choose a pigment that’s lighter than the natural colour of your brow.

“To take control over your definition, work against the natural direction of hair growth to quickly coat the skin between the hairs,” said Perdis.

Too much precision is when harsh, unnatural boundaries occur.

Step 3

After defining, always comb back through the brow with a brow comb to take the edge off your definition and to fuse the product into the hairs for soft, raw edges and a natural finish.
