Isdinceutics has officially launched in Australia, arriving with a level of scientific pedigree that’s hard to fake. The brand is the cosmeceutical arm of ISDIN, the Barcelona-founded dermatological lab that has spent close to 50 years studying photoprotection and skin science. And this new range is built directly on that research.
The brand’s premise is simple to state and harder to deliver: prevent, repair, correct. Isdinceutics sits at the intersection of dermatology and aesthetics, formulated to address photoaging, dehydration and dullness through textures designed for daily use rather than clinic only intensity.
The Formulation Approach
Isdinceutics is built on high concentrations of clinically proven active ingredients.
What that looks like in practice is a range that leans hard on concentration and specificity rather than breadth.
Retinaldehyde, a form of vitamin A one step more potent than the retinol most people already know, does the collagen stimulating, renewal speeding work in Retinal Smooth, paired with melatonin and bakuchiol so the repair happens while you sleep rather than fighting day light and pollution at the same time.
Tranexamic acid, more commonly discussed in dermatology clinics than on shelves, shows up in Melaclear at a notable 1.8% concentration to address pigmentation at a level most over the counter brightening serums don’t attempt.
Even the eye cream, K-Ox Eyes, comes with a cool metal applicator rather than a finger tip, a small design choice that suggests the brand is thinking about how people actually use these products at 7am, not just what’s inside the bottle.
The Range
The launch lineup is compact and built to function together as a full routine:
- Essential Cleansing Oil ($90). An oil to milk cleanser that removes stubborn makeup, water resistant sun cream and excess sebum.
- Retinal Smooth ($250). A dual phase retinaldehyde serum with melatonin and bakuchiol to accelerate skin renewal and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
- Hyaluronic Concentrate ($125). A lightweight water-gel serum offering deep hydration with a plumping, smoothing effect and satin finish.
- K-Ox Eyes ($125). A vitamin K-oxide eye cream with a cool tip applicator to target puffiness, bags and dark circles.
- Flavo-C ($125). A high potency vitamin C serum with ginkgo biloba for protection against free radical damage.
- Melaclear 1.8% ($217). A spot correcting serum with tranexamic acid to reduce dark spots, hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.
- Glicoisdin Soft 8 ($119). An exfoliating facial cream that refines skin texture and smooths the appearance of fine lines.
- Hyaluronic Moisture Cream ($118). Available in Normal/Dry, Sensitive and Oily formulations, each with hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and targeted ingredients for that skin type.
Suggested Routine
The brand recommends starting with the Essential Cleansing Oil, followed by a targeted serum such as Retinal Smooth, Hyaluronic Concentrate or Flavo-C, and finishing with moisturiser and eye care, applied morning and night.
