Knotted, looped, tied, wrapped or draped…scarves are one of the most versatile accessories in your wardrobe to totally transform any outfit, in any season.

Here are 9 easy and stylish ways to update your look with scarves…

  1. Rock it out: Choose a long, thin scarf (metallic fabric works well here) and drape in a long and dangling manner a la Rock-chick
  2. Bo-Ho: Wrap your head turban-style with a scarf to get in touch with your inner bohemian
  3. Wrist Action: Wrap a smaller silk scarf around your wrist to add to your watch and bracelet collection
  4. Bundled Bondi-Hipster style with a t-shirt or denim shirt to give that too-cool-for-school dressed-down look
  5. Belt up: Tie a long silk scarf around your waist or loop into keepers and tie on one side as a new take on the belt
  6. Get your kicks: Try a handkerchief tied around a shoe or a boot for a funky festival vibe
  7. DIY-style: Channel a ‘painting the house’ vibe and twist and tie a checkered or patterned scarf around your head, knotted off-center for glam DIY look
  8. Toga-Trend: Sling a wider scarf around your neck and tuck into a belt – toga-style
  9. Twist and shout: Twist a couple of scarves together and repeat looks 1-8
