Cocktail of the Week

Rogroni aka Rogue Negroni is a lightweight version of a traditional Negroni

The Rogroni cocktail is a softer, less bitter version of a traditional Negroni, and is a perfect sundowner for those who are new to sipping a cocktail that is less sweet.

It uses Regal Rogue The Bold Red , which is a semi dry vermouth lead by beautiful Australian native botanicals. It compliments the softer Italian aperitif, Aperol, which again is a lighter version of the Italian sip, Campari.

When blended together, you get a smooth cocktail that is easy to drink and enjoyable as a pre-dinner mix, with some light nibbles.

What You Need To Make The Rogroni Sundownder

  • Regal Rogue Bold Red Vermouth
  • Gin
  • Aperol

How To Make The Rogroni Sundowner

The Rogroni sundowner is quite possibly one of the simplest cocktails you’ll ever make, requiring only a few ingredients, a glass and a cocktail mixing stick. Even the most novice mixologist will make this beautifully, and it will be enjoyed by all.

Here’s all you need to do!

  1. Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes. You can also use a taller glass, if you prefer to drink your cocktails that way.
  2. Combine the Regal Rogue Bold Red vermouth, gin and Aperol in equal parts in your mixing glass.
  3. Stir the mix until it’s well-chilled and then strain it into a rocks glass that has been filled with ice cubes.
  4. Garnish the drink with a large orange slice and enjoy with a canapé as the sun sets, imagining you’re in Miami, the Caribbean or some other such tropical paradise!

About Regal Rogue Red Vermouth

Regal Rogue Red Vermouth is made with spiced Barossa Valley Shiraz and Hunter Valley Semillion grapes. It mixes well in many cocktail recipes, and is especially refreshing with served with ice cold ginger beer. Australian native botanicals give it a unique sharpness.
