But it’s not just any old runabout, like the beat up old Hyundai Getz she’s had parked outside her flat for months on end.
The head-over-heals 30-year-old has surprised Sam, 26, with a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, believed to be worth up to $60,000.
There’s just one little glitch in Sasha’s romantic gesture – seems Sam isn’t a big fan of classic American cars.
“Bought Sam an early Christmas present…she hates it! Haha,” he writes on his Instagram.
At least his intentions were on the right track.
Sam’s old wreck had taken up permanent residency in Bondi where it was spotted with emptied water bottles, old mail and magazines as well as shoes and clothes.
There was also nail polish and a dirty plate in the mix of junk dumped at the foot of the back seats.
It wasn’t any prettier in the boot either; household items gathering dust there included a frying pan, cheese grater, plate, bowl and a heater, all visible from the outside.
“I really wanted to take it away, fix it up, clean it up and get it back on the road for her so she had a decent car,” said Sasha.
Still, Sam’s dislike of Camaros seems to be minor speed bump in the bigger romantic picture, which seems to be blossoming more with every cute posting on social media.
The sweetest is arguably the dubsmash video featuring Sasha miming Say Something by A Big Great World.
“If anyone was wondering what @fro01 and I got up to on our secret rendezvous, here you go!” Mielczarek said.
