After a bitter three-month split, which culminated in the release of a video showing Johnny in a violent rage, Amber has filed legal documents withdrawing requests for protection from her estranged husband.
His lawyers, Laura Wasser and Blair Berk, crafted the settlement with Amber’s legal team after quizzing her about her abuse allegations during a six-hour deposition.
The resolution to one of Hollywood’s ugliest divorces came on eve of a court hearing which threatened to expose details of their tumultuous relationship to public glare.
In a joint statement Johnny and Amber say neither of them intended to cause the other any physical or emotional harm.
“Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love,” it reads.
“Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm,” the statement continues.
It also says Amber will be donating proceeds from the divorce settlement to an undisclosed charity.
Johnny, 53, has always denied abuse allegations made by his former wife.
Amber, 30, filed for divorce in May and obtained the temporary restraining order against Johnny a few days later.
Neither of the actors say they will comment further on the case.
Johnny has two children from a previous relationship with French singer and model Vanessa Paradis.
