His 18-year-old son Dylan is already shaping up as a 007 successor, judging by the hype surrounding his burgeoning modelling career.
Just a few months after being ‘discovered’ on a Malibu beach, the Californian film student is now starring in Burberry’s spring/summer 2016 campaign.
Channeling all his father’s trademark panache, the tall teen is pictured wearing a dark blazer and a lace shirt alongside British model Hayett Belarbi.
In another shot, he is seen showing off his chest in an open trench coat as he runs his hands through his shaggy locks.
“Shooting for Burberry was a lot of fun and a really good experience,” says Dylan of his experience on set.
“The atmosphere on the set in London was very friendly and laid back.”
The Burberry campaign consists of 40 images, which highlight the breadth of the brand’s newest ready-to-wear collections, including its made-in-England Heritage Trench Coats, Scottish-woven scarves, ponchos and latest bag styles.
Clearly a chip off the old block, Dylan is a natural when it comes to wearing fine threads with gorgeous women hanging off his arm.
In his very first assignment he posed for Saint Laurent’s menswear line and runway show alongside Val Kilmer’s son Jack.
Meanwhile, his famous dad is making no secret of the long-running grudge against the Bond producers who “kicked him to the curb” for Daniel Craig.
Interviewed for a new book, Some Kind Of Hero: The Remarkable Story of the James Bond Films, Pierce, now 62, says he learned of his demise in a phone call from producer Michael Wilson.
“Michael was stoic and he said, ‘You were a great James Bond. Thank you very much,’ and I said, ‘Thank you very much. Goodbye.’
“That was it. I was utterly shocked and just kicked to the curb with the way it went down.”
Pierce says the latest Bond film Spectre is overlong with a weak storyline, although he did heap praise on Daniel for another confident turn.
