Tell us a little bit about you and your background?

Why did you decide to get into the industry you’re in?
I was very creative from quite a young age.  From the age of about four or five, I remember designing orphanages, or what I call happy homes. Both my parents grew up in Greek orphanages in Crete.

Tell us about your LA based TV Show Interior Design Decadence?

Having my own Hollywood-based television show is something I never imagined in my wildest dreams. Filmed in various locations around the world, including Europe and Asia, I love that I bring global design to viewers. Featuring a number of guest speakers I demonstrate property makeovers, tips on de-cluttering, and design and colour consultations.

What’s the hardest skill you have learnt and or developed about yourself?

Inner strength – to be able to find it, maintain it and inspire others. We all need to believe in ourselves and also help others believe in themselves. God has given us all a gift and its up to us as to how we use it.

What’s one thing you love about what you do?
Inspiring people and making their spaces a dream reality… financially and aesthetically.

Why do you think gender diversification is important in the workplace?

Both genders compliment each other… all people have strengths and weaknesses … we all need to work together so that we can serve people better… men and women need to be treated as equal.

What does an average day look like?
Pray, start the day with my husband and three sons then design, create, inspire and serve. Put as many smiles on peoples faces as I can … I aim for 50 per day this includes messaging on social media.

Where is your favorite place to holiday?
My favourite place to holiday is my hometown of Heraklion on the gorgeous island of Crete, Greece.

You are a speaker at the Australian Women’s Network Business Summit. Why are you passionate about being involved in the AWN?
I see the vision of the Australian Women’s Network and their drive to bring amazing people together from all over the globe, to inspire, both men and women … I truly believe in what the AWN stands for– and I’m so grateful to be included in such an extraordinary vision.
