“Long hair can often be difficult to secure into a neat low bun that holds that ideal ‘bun shape’.” says Renya. “My biggest tip for long hair is to start off by creating a low pony tail and for a bun with slightly more texture, start off with a loose plait. This will help you add texture for a more relaxed, everyday look.”
Top Low Bun Tips
- Apply small amount of Wella Eimi Pearl Styler and brush through the hair
- For a smooth finish on top, prep the hair by straightening in sections with Cloud Nine Original Iron, starting at the root until the hair is straight.
- Brushing the hair back, tie your hair in a low pony at the nape of the neck. For a more textured bun, plait you hair in a loos plait and secure with a hair tie.
- Wrap the hair (or plait) around base of the pony to create your ideal bun shape and secure with pins around the outside out the bun. For a more relaxed look, play with the plaited section, loosening and lifting them slightly with a tail comb. This will also help create volume.
