Even though it’s not quite Valentine’s Day, this season, it’s all about fragrances housed in red and pink bottles.
Traditionally and culturally, red and pink have been a symbol for love, passion and desire; it can make you feel loving, sexy, and girly all in an instant.
“Colours have an emotional effect on us,” says psychology expert Angela Banos. “The associations which we have with certain colours have either cultural or biological origins, and there’s a lot of psychology behind cosmetics and even more so with fragrances, as they relate to olfactory senses and memories.”
