Green Dear Mycerne

Greend Dear Mycerne Is Made With The Cannabis Company's Mycrene hemp Gin, Giving it An Earthy, Tart Taste, Perfectly Offset With The Sweetness of St. Germain And Honey.

Green Dear Mycerne should be on the top of your sundowner list for Autumn, in our humble opinion. The easy-to-make cocktail uses The Cannabis Company Mycerne Hemp Gin as a key ingredient. It has the tartness of a typical gin cocktail, offset beautifully with the sweetness of St. Germaine and a dollop of honey. Perfect for when the mercury falls, and we begin to think of walking through crunchy leaves, romantic rainy days and warming open fires.

Enjoy this delicious cocktail with a bowl of green olives, or light and tasty canapes.

Green Dear Mycerne – Ingredients

  • 50ml The Cannabis Company’s Myrcene Hemp Gin
  • 30ml St. Germain
  • 30ml lemon
  • 5ml honey
  • Big sprig of fresh rosemary
  • Muddled cucumber

Green Dear Mycerne – Method

To make your Green Dear Mycerne, simply pour all ingredients into a shaker and muddle with cucumber. Shake well and pour in a Collins glass with a double strain. Garnish with sliced cucumber, mint leaf, dried lime and black pepper on top.

About The Cannabis Company’s Myrcene Hemp Gin

Small-batch distilled in Healesville, Victoria, The Myrcene hemp gin is made with Australian grown, organic Cannabis Sativa plant, sourced from the pristine Tasmanian Hinterland.

Terpenes (naturally occurring compounds found in the seed and leaves of many species of Cannabis Sativa and Indica species), are added into the pot to create a highly aromatic and flavour-rich juice. This broadens the breadth of flavours on the palate compared to many traditional gins.

The result? A delicious symphony of 15 hand-selected traditional gin ingredients, including juniper, orris, angelica, rosemary, sage, lavender, all delicately balanced with a soft touch of myrcene. Expect this gorgeous gin to bring an aromatic, herbaceous and fresh twist to your cocktails.

There may well be health benefits, too. There’s a growing body of evidence pointing to the therapeutic benefits of various terpenes, with a number demonstrating antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Myrcene, added into The Myrcene Hemp Gin, has a pungent, earthy aroma that makes this gin truly unique, as well as de-stressing and relaxing benefits. Mycerne Hemp Gin was the first cannabis spirit to win a silver medal and global recognition at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2019.

“The cannabis sativa plant is one of the world’s most restorative botanicals, used by healers for thousands of years,” says Alexandra Poznyak, Managing Director of Treeline Beverages, a division of The Cannabis Company. “We’re excited to offer a drink that not only tastes good, but also does good, using some of the world’s best quality hemp grown right here in Australia.”

The Cannabis Company is Australia’s leading destination for locally-made, organic cannabis and hemp products. Working to shift the sometimes negative perceptions of the cannabis plant, the company is constantly developing innovative products to reintroduce Australians to the cannabis plant.
