As an ode to the Spanish sherry casks its heritage spirit is aged in, The Glendronach Distillery has teamed up with Gildas restaurant to craft the Glendronach x Gildas Cocktail (aka The Ronnie). Recreate it at home with the recipe below. INGREDIENTS
- 20ml The Glendronach 12-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
- 20ml Campari
- 25ml Cava (a traditional Spanish sparkling wine)
- 15ml grapefruit juice
- 15ml sugar syrup
- Orange peel, to garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all ingredients, except for the cava, to a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared coupe and top with cava.
- Garnish your Glendronach x Gildas cocktail with a twist of orange peel
